A lightly sweet banana bread perfect for breakfast
There are two very ripe bananas sitting on my counter. These are much too soft for eating, but perfect for baking. I usually find this to be a great opportunity to experiment in the kitchen.
However, I was feeling a little bit lazy/unenthused. But then I happened to spot a couple of fruit flies hanging around the rotten bananas on the kitchen counter, and I didn’t like that. So it inspired me enough to peel those old bananas and mash them up in a bowl, just so I wouldn’t have to see those fruit flies.
Plus, this helps me complete my mission of creating banana bread recipes using one, two, three and four bananas. So I found enough inspiration to overcome my laziness.
This is a very easy recipe using ingredients that you most likely have on hand. Not only is it very easy to make, it is very tasty! It’s not overly sweet, so I think it would work well for breakfast. I don’t think it needs it, but if it was heated with a little bit of butter, that would make it all the more yummy. If you have two old bananas to use up, try this recipe!
